Episode 573 - 575

Bharat enters the bedroom and sees Aditi crying in bed. She quickly wipes her tears but Bharat says he knows she's crying and he's sorry. He begs her to forgive him. She tells him it's not his fault as she realises what he's going through and knows his family might go against him when they find out the truth and he loves his family very much. She says he's right and she won't question anything he does. Bharat says he didn't mean what he said as it's not like they are strangers. Aditi says they will become strangers the day his family finds out that they've been lying to them. Shivam's mother, Janke is crying. She asks her husband why they can't just tell Gauri the truth. He says it will break Gauri if they do. She asks who would think about their own suffering. He says he understands her pain but long ago, they made Gauri's parents a promise that they would raise her like their own and she won't be able to cope if they tell her the truth. She says the stranger won't stay forever and Gauri would still find out so they have to tell her to enable them to can carry out the final ritual for their son. Her husband says they will never get over the pain of losing their son but they can save Gauri's life by hiding the truth from her. Amar is alone outside the house at night, thinking of the lies the family is telling Gauri. Gauri comes to ask him to tell her about the countries he has visited. He says he doesn't want to talk now. She asks what's wrong. Amar says he's going to his room as he has work to do. Gauri says she knows he doesn't just want to be with her so she will sit outside the whole night. He tells her that he has things on his mind and can't talk to her so she needs to go back to her room. He leaves her and goes into the house. Gauri comes to see her friend, Jaya to complain about Amar's behaviour. She says maybe he doesn't like her the way he used to. She asks if a priest Jaya knows who does black magic can help her. Jaya says they need some of Shivam's hair. Gauri sends Shivam's nephew, Sonu, to go and pluck out some strands of Amar's hair while he's sleeping. Sonu goes into the room and plucks out some strands. Amar wakes up and Sonu hides under the bed. When he thinks Amar has gone back to sleep, he crawls out and Amar sees him. Amar asks what he's doing there. Sonu says Gauri sent him. Gauri is watching him from outside the door. She signals for him not to tell Amar. Sonu tells Amar that Gauri likes him a lot. Gauri takes the hair to Jaya.

Divya wakes up in the morning and picks up Amar's photo that's by the bedside. She kisses the photo and gets out of bed. Amar is still sleeping. Gauri enters the room and puts a note in his wallet. Amar wakes up and picks up his wallet. He opens it to look at a photo of Divya. He smiles. Gauri who is watching from the doorway, thinks he's reading her note. She tells him that she wrote it. He takes out the note and it says Good Morning.' She asks if the spelling is right. He says yes. She leaves, happy. Gauri and Jaya are in the market. A woman asks Gauri why she's so happy. Gauri says it will be her first fast and Shivam is around. Gauri's sister-in-law Mohini, meets the same woman at the market and the woman tells her that Gauri is very lucky as Shivam is very handsome. Mohini tells her and another woman with her that Gauri will be heartbroken. She whispers to them. At the house, Shivam's mother and her Mohini see Gauri looking into the room as Amar is trying to undress. Mohini tells her mother-in-law that Aditi cannot be allowed to fast for a stranger as people are beginning to gossip about them. Bharat convinces himself that he has to tell Aditi the truth today. He calls her and she asks if he needs something. He says he would like some tea. He asks himself what is wrong.

Gauri comes to the room to meet Janke and Mohini. She is very excited about the fast. Mohini tells her she won't be able to fast. Gauri asks why. Shivam's father walks in and says his wife is not feeling well. Gauri tells her that she will help her massage her feet. She says she will still fast and if Janke can't make them breakfast, she will have to prepare it herself. She leaves the room and Janke asks her husband why he didn't allow her to tell Gauri the truth instead of allowing her to fast for a stranger. Her husband says Amar will be leaving tomorrow. Mohini comes to tell her father in law that he is wanted by the village council. Divya shows Aditi some sarees and asks which one she likes the most. Aditi asks why there are so many. Divya asks if she has forgotten about the fast for their husbands. Bharat comes downstairs and Divya tells him that his wife is unable to choose a saree so he needs to help her. Bharat chooses a red one. Shivam's father is facing the village council. A spokesman tells him that they heard he has given a stranger shelter and he's claiming him to be his son. Shivam's father says circumstances forced him to do it. The spokesman asks if his son ran away. He says his son is no more. The council head says he understands but they still have to preserve their honour and Gauri cannot fast for the stranger. Shivam's father tells them what the doctor said about causing her stress. The council members say they won't allow her to fast and he has to tell her the truth today. Gauri is with Jaya. She complains that she doesn't know what to wear. She takes makeup from Jaya and asks if she thinks it would work. Jaya says it would work and Amar won't be able to take his eyes off her. Aditi holds up the bangles she's supposed to use for her fast. She remembers a time that she was fasting for Karan and he was violent with her. The bangles fall from her hand. Shivam's father tells his family that the council has instructed that Gauri shouldn't fast. A doctor is invited to the house to come and sedate Gauri but they discover she is not in the house.
