Episode 38 - 39

Samrat in the hospital, informs everyone about Anu's good health and isn't majorly hurt. Samrat advices Anu to learn Driving first before driving. Ishaan also tells her to be careful. Samrat talks like a male chauvinist and tells Anu that she will get problems during her marriage, if she gets scars on her face in a rash manner. Anu feels shocked after listening to him. Urmi asks how can he talk like this. Samrat says that he always speaks the truth, however bitter it might be, and that he is saying the naked truth, as he doesn't say lies, and doesn't like people who do. Ishaan asks him to stop his philosophies as what's done is done. Samrat asks if he is wrong, and he would marry a handicapped girl. Ishaan is silenced, while others are shocked. He finally says that he would. Anu is overwhelmed to hear this. Samrat says that he placed the wrong question to the wrong people and that he won't be able to bear it one day, after this filmy story happens. The nurse comes in for injections, for painkilling and while, the nurse tries to inject the medicine, Anu suddenly starts behaving like a child and refuses to take the injection. Urmi requests her to take the injection. Meanwhile, Samrat also tells her to take the injection. But Anu is scared. Ishaan comes and explains nicely, that she would get relief with this injection. She complies. She takes Ishaan’s hand, to bear the pain of the syringe. She eyes Ishaan lovingly.
Samrat goes out to receive a call. Urmi goes after him. Urmi asks if they can go home with Anu. Samrat asks what would they do, as she is right and is going home too. Samrat asks Urmi to come along. In the hospital, Urmi asks him that Anu has met with an accident, and her parents might be tensed, and would be relieved to see them. He taunts him sarcastically what should he do then, declare a national holiday. He says that he too has left his work and he can't delay it any longer. He asks her not to worry for Anu, as she is alright now. As he begins to go ahead, she keeps standing. He asks her to hurry along soon. He comes back to her. He asks her to take care of her husband and her new house, as now this is her house and she’s married, and not her own family. As Samrat leaves, Urmi is tensed and teary eyed. She begins to walk after him.
At Urmi’s and residence, everyone reprimand Anu, as she is seated on the bed. Rashmi too reprimands her for doing what she feels like. Anu apologises to everyone. Ishaan smiles at everyone’s comments. Anu eyes Ishaan lovingly, and can't take her eyes off him. He says that it's normal for Anu at her age. Anu thinks that a lot is going on in her heart, only for him. Devishankar thanks Ishaan, but he tells him not to. As Ishaan asks for leave, Anu asks why is he hastening. He says that he has to leave, and tries to get her to smile. Anu thinks that he should come with his heart, and she would get everything. Saroj asks about Urmi, and that she didn't come with them, for leaving Anu. Before Ishaan can speak, Saroj gets Urmi’s call, asking about Anu’s arrival home. Saroj asks the same thing from Urmi too. Urmi lies that Samrat was saying that they have to go, but kanchan wasn't feeling well, hence they came home. Saroj applauds her for this. Urmi asks about Anu’s health. Saroj says that she’s fine and asks her to take care of herself. Urmi cuts the phone. She turns around to find Samrat staring at her, and remembers his hatred for lies. She is surprised to see him, and asks why didn't he go to the office. He eyes her and then says that he has to go, and was watching what an artist she is, that she could lie to her mother. Urmi tries to explain, but Samrat says that he knows, but she did lie. Urmi is scared, but he says that this isn't lying, but fulfilling the duties of a good wife, and hence she would accompany him nicely, and hence pleased him. He decides to give her a good news, that they are going to the honeymoon. She says that she knows. He is surprised. She goes over to the drawer, and shows him the pamphlets, and eyes him lovingly. She goes on to rant what a beautiful place himachal is, and
He says that they are going for the honeymoon, and not for pilgrimage, hence they have to love each other and not nature like old couples. she asks where are they going then. He says that they would go to Goa. She gets excited at that too. He also adds to the excitement, while boasting that she would see the world with him. She hugs him, and he too responds.
As everyone attend to Anu, and she is reminiscient of Ishaan, they talk about Buaji’s going now, as she has to attend to her married house now too. Anu winces in pain. They ask if she is in pain. Anu confuses them saying that it's sweet pain.
As Shashi comes back, in a hurry, her husband asks where had she gone. She fumbles and then says that she had gone to the temple. He seems unconvinced and thinks where had she actually gone. she gets tensed at that. He sees through her lie. She makes a joke of it, and says that she was preparing for the puja but he says that he is her husband, he knows her for years, and understands what she says and what she doesnt, and identifies her excuses and her lies and hence she can't lie through her teeth in front of him. She gets tensed, but doesnt accept it though. He says that if she had gone to where he thinks she had, then it isn't good, as if Samrat gets to know this, he wont spare anyone. He leaves, while she stands tensed.
As Samrat and Urmi are in their room, Samrat finds Urmi happy, and asks if she has forgotten Anu and her accident now. Urmi goes on talking about how she has never been distanced from Anu, and that this is the first time. Samrat says that then she should have brought her here only. Urmi says that he shouldn't tease her, as he doesn't have a sister, and if he had one, he wouldn't have talked like this, as then he would have known the importance and love of a sister. His hands get clenched, and he gets extremely tensed. Urmi doesn't realise it. Urmi excitedly says that if she had a sister in-law, just to replace Anu, who she had earlier, but before she can complete her statement, Samrat loses his cool. Samrat reprimands her, losing her temper, saying that this is the problem with women, as she was perfectly happy till now and now wants a sister in-law. Urmi is shocked at this anger.
Urmi is shocked to see Samrat's anger, at the mention of a sister-in-law. She says that she was just trying to. Samrat says that she should not talk nonsense or bad about him, as he does not like it. She should take care of that from now on. As Samrat leaves in anger, Urmi thinks that she unnecessarily brought up the topic, and spoiled his good mood. She wonders why it upset him so much, and maybe he misses a sister and wonders how to make up his mood now.
Later, when Ishaan is on the terrace, Urmi comes to him. She says that she has cooked Halwa for Samrat and asks him to taste if it's okay. Ishaan tastes it and makes an ugly face. Urmi gets serious, that there’s something wrong but he relieves her by saying that it's fantastic and very tasty. Urmi scolds him for teasing her. She asks if Samrat would like it. He says that he would and would get a fan of his cooking. He asks her to spare some for him too, and then feed Samrat. Urmi complies, and then tells about her honeymoon trip. Ishaan hears this and congratulates her. Shashi overhears Urmi excitedly telling Ishaan how Samrat has gifted her with a honeymoon package, to go to Goa, to spend their honeymoon. Ishaan says that he is also coming, as instructed by Samrat. Urmi is happy that they would all have fun together. He thanks her for the Halwa.
In the kitchen, Kanchan is angry about the fact that there is no pickle in the house. The servant offers to clear it, when Shashi gets angry about the kitchen being in a mess. Kanchan says that it's Urmi’s fault, as she got excited about giving it to Samrat. Kanchan says that it's very good, and asks if she tasted it too. Shashi angrily says that no one felt the need. Just then, Urmi comes in and asks her to taste it, as after she couldn't find her, she had to go to Ishaan to get a view. Urmi gives some to Shashi, and she applauds her for making such a wonderful Halwa. She compliments Urmi for being such a good cook, and praises her and blesses her to be happy always. Just then Samrat hollers for Urmi. She begins to go but Shashi stops her saying that she should add dry fruits, while she herself goes to see what Samrat wants. as Urmi gets busy, Shashi thinks that by the time she gets Halwa, she would spoil her honeymoon plan. She goes to Samrat while he is busy in his work. Shashi tries to initiate a conversation with him. She says that since he got married, he has distanced himself from her. Samrat says that he talks all the time. She says that he is going for the honeymoon and didn't even tell her. He says that he isn't going very far and it isn't very important too. She hesitatingly says that she had said no earlier. He says that now his mood has changed, and asks why is she so tensed, and asks if he has done anything wrong. She says that it's very happy news, and asks why is Ishaan going, with a newly married couple. She says that she should keep Urmi away from his friends. Samrat hollers at her and asks what is she trying to say. He says that Ishaan was going to Goa, and he too made up a plan to go with him. Shashi says that she didn't know this, and resigns that it's good that they are going. She is worried though, that her plan failed.
Urmi gives her sweets and Samrat gets happy at the taste. She asks if he has forgiven her. He remembers his anger and asks if she’s bribing him to be in a good mood. She tensedly replies no. He asks her straight if it's a yes or not. He says that it's a good effort and she shouldn't repeat this mistake again. She gets a call, and talks to Anu. She tells Urmi that Trisha has given the UPPSC exam, and if she clears it, then she would be posted here in the police Department. After the phone call, Urmi excitedly tells Samrat that Trisha has given the UPPSC exam, and if she clears it, then she would be posted here in the police Department. Samrat’s face gets tensed hearing about Trisha, and Urmi senses her mistake. Samrat says that only in films do girls look good in police uniforms, and not in real life. He starts taunting her about Trisha and her heroic stint if she gets into the police. She trivialises the matter, and gives the empty bowl to Urmi to keep it in the kitchen. Urmi resignedly leaves.
At Urmi’s residence, Meanwhile, Anu is head over heels in love with Ishaan and is in her first love puppy phase, filling out diaries with her emotions, thinking about Ishaan. She gets shocked as Gaurav takes her diary. She gets scared that Gaurav might get to know about her feelings with Ishaan but she is relieved when Gaurav starts teasing her. She gets angry and asks about her diary but he tesaes her and says that he would read her diary today. She is scared. He says that he would find out today. He starts teasing her. Saroj comes to Anu’s rescue and takes it from Gaurav and gives it to Anu. They both start teasing Anu. Anu says that only Ishaan didn't tease or scold her. As they start discussing, she again gets into daydreaming about ishaan.
The next morning at Samrat's residence, as Samrat reads the newspaper, and Urmi is getting ready, he lustily eyes Urmi’s bareback, in a thread laced blouse. He says that she can go down later, and asks her to come towards him. She says that she has household duties and that she has lots of work, and she has to go down before his mother comes down, as she has worked enough for long years and Kanchan too is in a delicate condition. He asks her to go later after coming to him first. He asks her to work later. She says that she told yesterday to Shashi that she would make brekfast tomorrow, and now everybody would get food late. He pulls her towards him, and says that he doesn't know this, and it's on her to clarify whatever she wants to downstairs, but he knows what he has to do. She gets shy and finally gives in.
In the kitchen, Kanchan is working in the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Shashi comes down asking if the breakfast is ready. Kanchan says that she just started getting ready for the breakfast. Shashi asks about Urmi and is told that she hasn't come down yet. She gets very angry at this brash behaviour. Urmi, comes downstairs, overhears Shashi talking angrily, that she thought she would be free once the other daughter in-law comes, but here everyone is doing their free will. As Shashi sees that Urmi has heard it, she gets tensed. Urmi is shocked to hear this from her.
