Episode 48 - 49

Samraat, Ishaan and Urmi go for a party at Goa. Samrat tells Ishaan that there’s just one way to remove Urmi’s hesitation and that's by making her consume alcohol. Ishaan asks him not to do this, as she has never had a drink and this might create problems. Samrat asks him not to worry as one drink won't be a problem, and if there is, then he being the husband would handle his wife. Ishaan says that he doesnt agree to all this, but if he wants to, then he won't stop him. Samrat gets a drink prepared, mixes alcohol in softdrink and goes to gives it to Urmi, while Ishaan watches tensed, from a distance and Ishaan is not able to help her. Urmi hesistates at first, but then thanks him for getting something to drink as she was very thirsty. He asks her to drink as she would feel fresh too. Urmi complies and drinks the alcohol drink. She senses a peculiar taste and asks what's it, as it tastes strange. Samrat says that this is Goa’s speciality, and asks her to gulp it down in one go. She complies, while Samrat watcehs Ishaan smiling.

Meanwhile, under the influence of alcohol, Urmi is now drunk and starts dancing in the party with the foreigners. Ishaan says that he is tensed for her. Samrat says that he shouldn't bother for his wife, as she is just enjoying and he’s there for her. Ishaan asks him to take care of her but samrat asks him to relax, while Urmi keeps falling here and there, and Samrat enjoys this new avatar of Urmi, and asks him to chill. Samrat too mingles with other girls, while one foreigner eyes Urmi lustily. As he tries to get close to him, and when Samrat sees that a foreigner is dancing with Urmi, he beats him and gets furious asking how dare he cast his eyes and hands on his wife. Ishaan is tensed to see this. He joins and asks Samrat to stop, while he continues hitting that person. He takes Samrat away from there, while Urmi stands inebriated. Samrat still continues venting out his frustration at that person, as he runs away from there.

Next day, Samrat still thinks about the incident at the beach, while Urmi sleeps having been intoxicated. Finally Urmi wakes up, with a heavy head though, due to the hangover of the alcohol. as she gets up groggily, Samrat comments that she got up too soon. Urmi asks why didn't he wake her up. He says that people can be woken from sleep, not from unconscious state. Urmi is unable to understand this. She then says that she feels weird, and she complains of having a splitting headache. She comes upto him and hugs him, and asks how did they come back. He says that she wasn't and didnt come back, but was brought back as she was in no control. Samrat reveals to Urmi that she was dancing in the party like a free bird and that she just needed a cause of shamelessness, and once she got it, she lost her control and self resistance, and gave herself completely to fun. Urmi wakes up startled. He asks if she remembers what she did last night, and how she was shamelessly having fun on the beach, without any self control which shocks her. Urmi remembers about the events up til taking the drink. Again Samrat continues to scolds Urmi that she was dancing shamelessly with a foreginer on the beach and comments on her character. She asks him to be quiet. He says that being quiet won't shut the truth, and that she got the biggest scope of her life. Samrat tells her that she had no care in the world, that there were foreigners all around her, and lining her around the waits and she was enjoying it. Urmi says that she doesn't believe this as it's all wrong and a lie.

On the other hand at Urmi’s residence, Devishankar reprimands Saroj for being careless about her daughter and that Anu is getting stubborn and might have wrong habits. Saroj says that she only found out about this, and how would she know what's going on in their daughter’s mind. Devishankar says that only this won't suffice, and that she should keep her girl in control, and blames it on her. Saroj asks if there’s no responsibility of the father to decide the right and wrong path for children. Saroj and devishankar get into a fight, where Saroj asks him to stop the blame game, as he should know first, what all has he done in the past that led to their seperate beds. She further replies her husband back that Urmi had been their daughter and she never went against them, and Anu is his responsibility too. He raises his voice, and she asks him to silence up. Saroj tells him that there’s much respect outside this door, and asks him to maintain it. Both are tensed. While Saroj sleeps on the sofa, Devishankar sits tensed on the bed.

In the morning, Bua ji asks why didn't she come down for breakfast. Anu says that she would have been reprimanded downstairs. Bua ji tells Anu that she gave them a reason to reprimand her. She add that she’s very young, and doesn't realise what consequences can this lead to, and hence parents are overconcerned when their children are at this age. She advises her against the vices of this teenage. Bua ji asks her to have food. Anu says that she isn't hungry. Bua ji tries to talk nicely, and get her to cheer up and have food. But she is still tensed. She asks Anu to spill out whatever she has in her heart, without bothering that she would tell anyone else. She says that she is on her side, and if she tells her who is that person, then she would be relieved that Anu isn't in the wrong company or with the wrong man. Anu says that there’s nothing like it, and whatever it was, ended before it even began. She tells Bua ji that it was one sided, and he never reciprocated what she felt for him, and he has gone far away, and hence they shouldn't worry at all, as she won't do anything that would tarnish their reputation. Bua ji asks her not to mind all this, as whatever has happened is for the best. she hugs Anu. saroj hears this from a distance and is still tensed.

At Goa, Samrat says that last night, he was embarassed due to the atmosphere that she created and she thinks that it's all a lie. Urmi asks him to swear on it. He asks if he would have to give proof now of what he just said, and asks if he likes tainting her like this, and Ishaan is also a proof witness of her behaviour last night. Samrat says that there was no problem, as he had given her a vodka drink, so that she could relax and enjoy, but she showed her true colours with just one drink, and gave invitation to all. Urmi breaks down into crying saying that she doesn't remember anything at all and she wasn't conscious at all. Samrat asks what kind of a woman she is, that she couldn't know that he was advancing towards her. He asks her that he isn't a fool, as he isn't going to believe her, as the truth is that she got astray while seeing the foreigners and thought that she could pass it off on alcohol. Urmi says that he is at fault for giving her alcohol, and then blaming her for all this. Samrat says that alcohol didn't just affect her and he had also consumed it, and asks her not to blame her shamelessness on the alcohol. Samrat reprimands and taunts Urmi that she broke all records last night. Urmi stands distraught and bewildered. He tells Urmi that hadn't he stopped her, then she wouldn't have been here with him in this room, but with that foreigner in his room, waking up from her unconscious state. Urmi is shocked to hear this, while Samrat leaves in anger.

At Urmi’s residence, Bua ji relieves everyone by narrating what Anu said. Granny refuses to belive Anu whether she is lying. Bua ji asks her not to overthink, as she feels that Anu is saying the truth. Saroj hopes that everything would be alright and wonders how to deal with Anu. Granny asks her to tighten the noose around Anu, as she has roamed enough freely. Everyone are tensed.

At Goa Hotel, Urmi goes to Ishaan's room in order to ask what had happened at the beach party, after she got drunk. Ishaan finds Urmi at his room door, asking to talks to him. While Urmi is tensed and distraught, Ishaan starts glaoting about how much Samrat loves her, that he couldn't even bear anyone getting close to her as what happened last night. Urmi starts crying and Ishaan gets tensed. He asks her to stop crying and insistently offers her water. She complies and then tells that this has never happened before, that she completely forgot what happened last night. She further shares to Ishaan that Samrat is blaming her and how he insulted her and she doesn't remember anything and asks to be told clearly what she did last night. Ishaan tells her to calm down and says that she wasn't at fault, and shares the party incident with her that Samrat also didn't know that a drink would have led to all this. Ishaan says that Samrat is venting out his frustration and anger, at what happened last night, and narrates the entire incident to Urmi, who is shocked. Urmi is pleased to know that Samrat had beaten the foreigner who was trying to get close to her when she was dancing. She starts smiling when he says that Samrat loves Urmi very much and hence has a right to be angry, as that too is a form of love. He asks her to relax and enjoy Goa. Urmi thanks him.

Urmi goes to their room, to find Samrat shaving and remembering Ishaan’s words, she goes and hugs Samrat, while he is still non compliant and resisting. She asks him if he loves her too much. He looks at her surprised but doesn't respond. She asks again. He asks what does it mean. She asks excitedly aagin. Samrat asks what new mood has she gotten into. Urmi says that she knows that he loves her very much. He asks how. She tells him what Ishaan told her. Samrat taunts her and says that he wouldn't have let his wife be insulted and disrespected. Urmi says that she knows that he loves her. He asks if she does too. She says that it doesn't even need to mention. He asks her if she knows what love means. She asks him to describe it. He says that loves means understanding and faith on the partner and asks if she understood it. She says that she understood him and knows him too and has faith on him more than herself, and all this combined together is love for him. He says that time would show what love she has for him, as he eyes her romantically. She asks Samrat where are they going. Samrat says that they are going to the beach. Urmi says that they are going there everyday, and points out some other places to visit too. Samrat taunts her for being a historian instead of a traveller and that he would arrange for a taxi for her if she feels like visiting.

At Samrat’s residence, Shashi gives last minute advise to Kanchan and Rashmi, for the puja that Kanchan has to perform. she is relieved that Saroj too is going along with them. Saroj says that she shouldn't bother as she has just fallen and hence should be completely relieved now that she is going. They all leave. Kanchan sees a black cat passing by and is about to raise a hue and cry but Rashmi stops her and does some anti superstitious dote and asks Kanchan to not mention it to anyone. Shashi see them off.

At the temple, after having done the Darshan, as they climb down, Urmi's sister in-law, Kanchan gets pain in stomach as she is pregnant, when she goes to temple and Saroj asks her to sit down but she keeps walking. Kanchan starts getting dizzy at the pain, and collapses on the stairs. Kanchan says that she isn't able to walk anymore. Saroj asks her to atleast walk till the car so that they can rush to the hospital. But Kanchan is in no condition. The lady asks what happened and if she is full term. Saroj says that nine months haven't completed yet, but it looks like the labour pains have started. The lady inspects her. the lady tells Saroj that she is in labour, and won't be able to reach the hospital in time. Saroj is shocked and tensed. The others tell her that the delivery would have to be done here. Saroj and Rashmi are shocked but the ladies say that they don't have much time left, and begin to assist Saroj. Saroj tells the priest, about the essential requierments for the delivery and he rushes to arrange for it. Saroj sends Rashmi to the priest too to get some boiled water. The main lady takes over and starts instructing everyone around. Saroj tells Kanchan that she is in god’s home, and nothing wrong can happen to her. They arrange all the stuff, while the lady tells her to bear the pain. Kanchan says that she feels that she would die. They push her through the pabour pains to keep up her strength to deliver the baby. Later, with one final push, Kanchan gives birth to a beautiful baby girl near the temple with the help of ladies there, amidst much relief and happiness of a baby. Saroj is overwhelmed with emotions. Everyone thank the lord.

At Goa hotel and Samrat’s residence,
Samrat gets his mother call and asks Urmi to pick up. Urmi's mother-in-law informs this good news to Urmi. Urmi is delighted to hear this good news. Shashi expresses her regret at having had a girl, instead of a boy, through Kanchan. Urmi is tensed for this, while Shashi is disappointed that now she has to look after the child and Kanchan. Urmi asks Shashi to congratulate Kanchan, and is super happy. Urmi tells Samrat that she has a good news for him, and hugging him, she tells him that he has become uncle and she aunt, as Kanchan has delivered a girl but Samrat does not seem happy and he too shows the same reaction as Shashi as he has conservative thoughts about a girl child, saying that if it had been a boy, then he would have taken the family’s respect and fame further. Urmi tries to argue that even girls can do stuff. Samrat taunts in general that girl child is a problem for family and that girls can only bring insult for the family. As he leaves, Urmi is shocked at his stance.

Downstairs, Ishaan tells Samrat that he has lost his phone. Samrat says that he got distracted in Goa, and himself eyes the leggy lasses. While Ishaan is tensed for his work having been impended due to the mobile having been lost, Samrat has all his eyes on the foriegn girls. The manager says that he can arrange for Ishaan to stay there, but he would have to make it an overnight stay. Samrat sees his chance and asks him to take this offer. Samrat eyes lady foreigners, and lustily is attracted to them. Ishaan too complies. He reminds Ishaan that he had come here for work and he shouldn't ignore it. Ishaan offers to go, after having waved goodbye to Urmi. Samrat asks him not to delay his work, as she is sleeping right now, and that he would tell them later. Ishaan leaves. Samrat smiles and joins the ladies. Samrat asks for some good place to hang out and party too. They ask him something in foreign language. He replies back in affirmative saying that he is alone here.
