Dev comes to Payal while she is busy playing holi, he realises his error and apologises to Payal, not knowing his marriage to her is in the process. He tells her that he will not disturb her from hereon, wishes her best of luck for her future, and leaves. Rajat asks who was he. She says no one and runs to her room. Rajat's assistant tells him if they use Payal’s name in transport department, they will get license. The inspector comes with constable to Jogeshwar’s house, who is busy dancing in his holi celebrations, and asks who is Jogeshwar Prasad. Jogeshwar says he is and asks what is the issue. The inspector says he has been alleged with child kidnapping. Jogeshwar asks who complained about him. Gulkan comes there and asks the kids if their grandfather hit him. They say no. She asks the inspector to arrest Jogeshwar. Jogeshwar asks why will he kidnap his own grandchildren. She says he kicked them all out and now he is showing his sympathy. The inspector arrests him and puts hand cuffs on him. Ayodhya comes there and tells the inspector that there is some misunderstanding. Gulkan yells that his father kidnapped her children. Ayodhya says he had taken the children out to buy pichkari. The servant Jungnu come there and brought the children here. He beats the sevant. The children tells their grandfather that their father brought them for the holi. He asks them to shut their mouth. Jogeshwar tells the inspector that came to disturb his holi celebrations and asks to arrest them both. Gulkan says she does not want to even spit at his place. He says he will not let her spit. She says she came to take back her children. He asks the inspector to arrest them. Santoshi asks him to calm down. Ayodhya takes Gulkan home. Once again Jogeshwar acts as getting panic attack. Payal takes bath and changes after holi celebrations and reminisces Dev’s words. Neelu asks what happened. She tells her that he came home and apologized, and said he did not know her marriage is already fixed and wished her best of luck for her new life. Neelu says he is a good man then. Rajat’s assistant calls him and tells there is nothing wrong in taking Payal’s name to get the contract. His wife hears this and asks what was he talking about. He says he is starting a new job, so was discussing about it. She asks if he is not doing anything wrong. He gets irked and asks if everyone thinks he is so wrong. She says she did not mean that. He yells at her and leaves the room.

The doctor checks Jogeshwar and asks him to rest. He asks Santoshi about Dev. She gets nervous. He asks her what is she hiding. She says nothing. He frightens her. She says he does not want to meet the bride’s family. He says he is getting a sanskari a bride with benefits. Dev comes running to his father and asks if he is fine. Jogeshwar shouts at him and says he just wanted him to meet the bride’s family, but he does not respect his words at all. Dev asks him to calm down and says he is ready to marry whoever he says. On hearing this, Jogeshwar happily hugs him. He then signs and dances with Santoshi. Guddi and Santoshi smile. He calls Bhuvaneshwar and informs him that he is coming to his house with his son. Rajath goes to RTO office and requests the officer to give him license to drive his car from Chaibasa to Tata Nagar. The officer shoos him off. Rajat reveal to the officer that he is PWD officer Payal Rai’s brother. On hearing this, the officer agrees to grant him license and tells him that he will call him himself after the license is made. Jogeshwar takes Dev to Payal’s house. Dev gets tensed thinking someone from Payal's family complained to his father about his mistake, so he came to confront him. Jogeshwar asks him to come out. Dev says he will not come out of the car. Jogeshwar insists him and takes him out of the car. Dev thinks his father will insult him for sure today. Payal meanwhile arranges the dinning table. Indu asks Payal's uncle, Guddan to check when Jogshwar will comes. Jogeshwar enters the house and says as per promise he brought his son. Dev who is still unaware that his marriage proposal is with Payal hides behind Jaiswal. Jogeshwar drags him out and introduces everyone that he is his son Dev. Payal is shocked to see him.

Payal, her mom and siblings are shocked to see him. Jogeshwar introduces Dev to them and tells him he is getting married to Payal. Dev is extremely happy hearing that and smiles at Payal. Payal feels shy. Rajat reminisces Dev’s mischief and angrily tries to confront him, but Indu stops him. Bhuvaneshwar asks them to sit and asks her daughter-in-law, Alka to bring water. An excited Dev drinks the water in 1 gulp. Rajat tells his mother, Indu that she should tell everything to his father, Bhuvaneshwar. She takes Bhuvaneshwar in and Rajat tells him he is the same guy who proposed Payal and asks how can they fix Payal’s alliance with this crook guy. Indu says this crook cannot be her son-in-law. Neelu says he had come yesterday and apologized for his mistake, so he is not a crook. Everyone come out. Dev sees Rajat staring at him and stands up. Everyone get tensed. Rajat smiles, hugs Dev and apologizes to him. Jogeshwar asks why was he apologizing. Neelu tells them that Dev had come to propose to her sister and her brother had kicked him out, and it has become a filmy scene. Jogeshwar gets angry on Dev, but then laughs and says it is fate and that God has made this couple. Jaiswal backs him up. Indu calls everyone for lunch. Payal shyingly serves food to Dev and he stares at her. Indu tells Jogeshwar that he would have called Santoshi and Guddias well. He says Santoshi is busy in her pooja and compliment that the food is very tasty. Indu inform him that Payal made the food. Bhuvaneshwar asks what Dev does. Jogeshwar and Dev get tensed hearing this. Even Rajat asks what he has studied and his work. Dev says he has completed graduation, but Jogeshwar stops him and says he wants them to come and see what Dev does. Rajat says they will plan in 1-2 days. Guddan jokingly tease them that fhey should go tomorrow. Bhuvaneshwar asks Jogeshwar if he has any problem. He says no. On seeing everyone reaction and respond, Dev realizes that his father has not informed them about his bank exam and unemployment.

Back at home, Dev tells his mother that it is God’s planning as this kind of coincidence cannot happen. Guddi asks him to explain. He says he told them he does not want to marry and the reason is he loves someone and the girl is Payal. Santoshi and Guddi get happy on hearing this. Dev says he loves Payal and they have fixed his alliance with her, so he is very happy. Santoshi says she will go to the temple tomorrow and will feed 100 beggars for her son happiness. He says Payal is PWD engineer and is very successful, but he is employed, and that if his marriage happens with Payal, he will work hard and clear the bank exams. Santoshi asks him to leave it to God. Jogeshwar hears everything and thinks he does not believe in God and will do his work. Guddan asks Indu why did she not inform them about Dev. Indu says all is well that ends well. He calls Payal and asks if she is happy with this alliance. Payal says she knows Dev did a mistake, but he apologized and it is good. Neelu says it looks like Payal likes Dev. Rajat's assistant comes there and gives him the transport license. The whole family gets happy hearing that. Payal says though it is late, he got the license. Indu says from morning, only good is happening. He says he will start his transport job from today.

Jogeshwar calls Ayodhya at midnight and tells him if Dev tells Payal’s family that he is unemployed, then they will break the alliance, so he has a plan and tells it to him. Ayodhya likes it and says they should let them come and see Dev Prasad’s Jalwa. Indu tells Alka she hopes Dev’s job is good and Bhuvaneshwar and Rajat like it. Alka says it will be. Indu says if it is, she will get her silk sari. Neelu comes there and asks what will she get. Indu says she will get her chudidar and not banyan she wears. She asks Payal and Neelu to help Alka prepare food. They get busy. Payal’s secretary calls her and asks what should he write in official letter. She says she cannot come to office and dictates it over phone. Dev comes to his coaching class and reminisces his meetings with Payal. Na Sajde Me Dil Hai song plays in the background. His friend, Rajesh wakes him up and says he is very lucky. The lecturer starts the lesson, but gets a call. He asks Dev to write notes on the black board and walks out. Jogeshwar brings Bhuvaneshwar and Rajat to the coaching class and shows Dev coaching the classes board.

Jogeshwar takes Bhuvaneshwar, Rajat and Guddan to a coaching center where Dev studies and shows it as it's owned by Dev. He shows them the big boards with Dev’s name, takes in where Dev is writing on black board as per teacher’s order. Bhuvaneshwar says they should not disturb Dev and walks out with eveyrone. Rajat asks Jogeshwar how much he spent on setting up coaching classes. Jaiswal says Dev worked hard and set up this coaching center. On seeing this, the Rai's family are satisfied with what they hear and saw. Guddan invites Jogeshwar to come home and finalize the marriage date. Once they leave, Dev comes out and asks where did they go. Jogeshwar says they already left and sends him to inform his friends. He happily leaves in bike. The coaching center’s owner changes the board and says he did it on Ayodhya’s order. The servant tells Santoshi that he will leave his job as he is insulted and beated in this house and not even given money to nurse his wounds. Guddi signals her mother to give him money. Santoshi thinks if he goes, she will have to work. She gives the servant money and praises him. Jogeshwar comes home with band baja. Santoshi asks if Gulkan agreed to leave Ayodhya. He says bigger than that and tells Santoshi that he trapped Payal’s family and fixed Dev’s marriage. He feeds her sweets and gives the servant to finish it off.

Dev comes to Gulkan’s brother’s house where she and Ayodhya are staying and happily informs them that his marriage is fixed. Before he could continue, Ayodhya hugs him and takes him in to take god’s blessings. Gulkan thinks whose marriage it is now. She talks to herself and says her father-in-law Naatu and ugly man Jogeshwar must have trapped some rich family. Dev goes into the room and asks where the god’s idol is. Ayodhya says Gulkan fought with him just now and is in bad mood, so he should not tell her. Dev tells his elder brother that he is marrying the same girl he loves, she is a PWD engineer and that her parents accepted him even after knowing that he is illiterate. Ayodhya says he is really happy for him. Gulkan asks Dev to come out. Dev comes out and runs telling her he told Ayodhya everything. Meanwhile, Goonjun is suspecting that her father-in-law of getting up to no good, she thinks he must have fixed Ayodhya’s marriage with a girl but she will not let it happen and wants to visit him. Ayodhya says Guddi’s marriage is fixed. She says his father was eager to get Dev’s married, then how did he fix Guddi’s marriage and how much dowry is he taking. Ayodhya reminds his wife that Guddi is a girl and dowry has to be given instead. She says she know his father will even sell his sweat and must loot the groom’s family.

Payal is at home. She gets her assistant’s call who informs her that RTO officer is waiting in her office. She asks why did he come and asks him to tell him that she will meet him tomorrow. Jogeshwar asks Santoshi not to inform Dev about his plans, else Dev will not marry Payal and his plan of getting bride with benefits will ruin. She asks what if her tongue slips. He threatens her that he will cut her tongue. Dev comes home. Santoshi performs his aarti and hugs him. Dev asks his father not to take dowry from Payal’s family. Jogeshwar promise his son that he will never take dowry, but thinks he is planning about a life-long income. Guddan happily tells her mother about Dev’s coaching classes and praises Dev. Payal gets Gulab Jamoons for everyone. Her father and Guddan like it. Indu asks her husband if he liked Dev. He says Dev is just like him and he set up his coaching classes on his own, and that he is a self-made man. He suggests Payal to meet Dev once. Rajat says he will go and inform Jogeshwar. Guddan also says he will accompany him.
