Wednesday's Updates On Lies of the Heart 06-09-2017
Episode 80 - 81
At Annu’s residence, Granny is tensed and angry that Gaurav further aggravated the situation. Others too reprimand him for this, but Buaji favours Gaurav, that he did the right thing. Saroj asks what happened there. Gaurav says how he silenced Samrat. Gaurav again expresses her anger, and Saroj says that this is the problem she is talking about. But Devi and Granny advise her otherwise saying that Urmi is wrong in coming back here, and that she shouldn't have left her home to come to her own home. Buaji is shocked. Saroj asks what should she tell Urmi that she should go back where she has been insulted. Granny asks her that she shouldn't air this too, till the time it's beyond salvage.
Later, in the night on the roof, after leaving Samrat's place, Urmi finds solace in Trisha's company and realises that she was right regarding her warning about Samrat. Urmi apologises to Trisha for mistaking her so deeply, remembering all what she has told her, and that when she had advised her against marrying Samrat, she never heeded to her advise and instead lashed back at her and insulted her. Trisha is emotional and crying too along with her. Urmi breaks down lamenting at the state that she has brought herself in, and how everything is over now. Trisha asks her to stop crying as that is what she had been trying to prevent the first time around. Urmi cries describing the dreams that she had conjured about their marital life, and what has happened and how deeply they got shattered.
The next morning, Urmi tells everyone, that she can't spend her life with such a man and she has given it much thought, and won't go back. Granny advises her about it saying that marriage isnt a joke and its for eternity. Urmi says that she also thought like this, but when life turns hell in such a relation, it can't be kept, and it's better that she forgets it as a bad dream. She begins to cry again. Everyone get tensed. Granny doesn't understand her stance and says that any marriage is better than staying married in their own maternal home. Urmi asks Saroj if she would be by her side. Granny reminds her of the various promises made on the day of marriage. Urmi says those promises were for a good life, not a life in hell, devoid of emotions and insult, and become lifeless finally. She says that there won't be any value to her opinion, her existence and her feelings. She says that she didn't sign up for such a relation. Granny tries to speak, but Devi stops her. Urmi cries in her mother's arms.
At Samrat’s residence, Samrat tells Shashi that he’s going outside, and won't eat food. Shashi silently agrees, while his father asks where is he going. He turns back and says that he is going to play holi with his friends. His father asks how can he be so unfazed. Samrat rudely asks what should he do then, should he lament that Urmi has gone, and that he won't stay back. His father says that even death won't bother him now. Samrat gets angry and asks him not to give dialogue, just like Gaurav did in the morning. His father says that he did such a thing that all have to hear from everyone. Samrat is angry that he is siding with Gaurav. His father asks him to think about Urmi, and how sad would she be right now, and he perfectly maligned her first holi. Samrat comes to him and says that he should keep his advise to himself, and let him go. Shashi composes him and asks him to go. He tells Shashi to give some advise to her husband. He leaves. His father is angry that the way he is hurting Urmi, the lord would never forgive her. Shashi doesn't bother.
The next morning, Shashi gives her husband meds, and asks him not to worry. He again gets into a rant as to how Samrat should get back to his senses and get back the respect of this family, and with much adornment and by apologising to Urmi. She asks him not to buckle, and let her do the talking. As Samrat comes down, Shashi asks if he is going. He rudely replies back. Samrat instructs the servant to get the room in order. She exclaims that he must be having difficulty without Urmi. He asks if she’s talking about herself. He is shocked when she suggests that they should go to get Urmi. He asks her why do they even expect such things and tease her about it. She asks him to forgive and forget and get her back. But he firmly denies. His father tells him that he won't become small in front of Urmi if he goes to get her. He taunts that he is missing her more, and that she would come back, and herself only, as her own family would send her back, by telling her that this is the rightful place. They are all tensed.
Meanwhile, in her house, Rashmi is tensed with the drama in the house. Shashi intentionally speaks out her name, indicating to Samrat, that she’s on the phone. He gets alert. Rashimi tells her about Urmi’s drama. Rashmi asks if Samrat would come. Shashi says that Urmi shouldn't be so angry and should understand that this is her relation and she has to salvage it, and should come back, before there’s no entry for her in their house. Rashmi says that there are lots of people to advise her, including Trisha. He gets alert, when Shashi expresses her shock by mentioning the name out loud. Shashi talks to Rashmi who informs her that she is getting much support from everyone and they all know what Trisha would advise her. Shashi tells her to tell Urmi and her parents that they should get back to their senses and do the right thing, as it would be too late otherwise if Samrat gets really angry and doesn't allow her ever again in the house.
At Anu’s residence, Trisha finds Urmi sad and upset. She comes up to her, and says that she can understand what she is going through, but she has top face it with much strength and bravery, and that she shouldn't weaken herself so much, that life becomes a burden. She tells Urmi that only she can understand what's right or wrong for her. She asks her to understand it completely, and not have any doubt about anything and only then take a decision and not to ignore if she finds anything wrong. Trisha advises her that with a compromise, life becomes more of a hell. Trisha tells her that if she isn't happy there, then she shouldn't spend a single day there, as she deserves her happiness and she has to always remember that. Urmi nods in compliance. Urmi looks at her with crying eyes. Trisha wipes her tears and asks for her leave. Urmi denies and tells her not to. Trisha gets emotional and says that she would have to go. Urmi still denies. Trisha says that she has to promise that she won't trouble herself or cry anymore. Urmi manages to say yes, and asks if she would visit soon. Trisha complies, and says that she mayn't be here, but would talk everyday on the phone and if she needs, would come to meet her too. They both hug each other tightly. Urmi’s crying.
At Samrat’s residence, Devi and Saroj come to Samrat’s place and apologise to Samrat's parents on Urmi behalf and Gaurav, and for their indecent behaviour. Samrat’s father says that it's they who should apologise. Shashi says that the wrong has been done on both sides, and due to young blood, things reached till here. Saroj says that still Samrat shouldn't have raised his hand. Shashi says that whats done is done, and there’s no use crying over spilt milk. Devi agrees saying that she’s absolutely right. Shashi says that a woman has to make many compromises in order to keep a relation, and everything has a solution. Saroj is angry but doesn't express it. Devi says that she is right. but Samrat’s father says that they are embarrassed that they couldn't keep Urmi as their daughter. Shashi is tensed. Devi and Samrat’s father shake hands.
While on the road, Samrat spots Trisha on the road, and gets down from the car. He then comes up to her, while she faces him stoically. He tells her that she has got a very good instigating habit. Trisha says that he himself is to blamed for this, and has to bear the consequences and that she doesn't even need to instigate Urmi and that this fire will definitely take over his ego. But Samrat is unfazed saying that nothing will remain out of this fire but regret. But Trisha retorts saying that some fires ruin everything, and that it's better for Urmi to live alone than stay with him. She says that he must have remembered that if he doesn't change her, then very soon he would fall in her eyes, and her love for him would turn into hatred, and then she won't want to see his face leave alone staying with him. Trisha tells Samrat that he shouldn't be mistaken that Urmi would come back to him. He asks where else would she go, other than apologise and come back. Trisha says that he is blinded by his ego, and that she too wait wait for those days when what he says happens, as those days are gone and now he would start realising her importance, as the time would come, when he dreams of Urmi, and she wouldn't even want to see him in her dreams. As she leaves, he is fuming.
At Anu’s residence, Anu tries to cheer up Urmi by getting her coffee, saying that she would scold Samrat for what she did to her. They find that Saroj and Devi have returned. She asks them where did they go. Saroj replies that they went to her in-laws’ place. She is surprised and goes up to them to ask why. Devi says that they tried to talk and sort it out, as it's her marital place after all, and conversation was needed, as relations don't snap in an instant, and in her anger she can't realise it. They say that it's their responsibility to sort it out. Rashmi too says that she has to go someday. But Urmi is reluctant about going back to Samrat's place and says that she has resolved that she won't go there. They are tensed. Granny tells her that they would talk to Samrat and he would never hit her again. Urmi says that it isn't such that, and that there are many habits that are beyond toleration, and not one thing that can make her stay with him. They are shocked. Urmi says that she was satiating till now that everything would be fine, but everything kept getting worse, and she never told them for fear of disturbing them. She asks her mother to atleast to understand, that he is an egoistic and emotionless human being, and doesn't care for anyone other than himself. She says that after much deliberation, she has taken this decision. Rashmi says that he isn't that bad too. Gaurav silences her and tells Urmi that she doesn't need to go if that's so. Buaji too favours him, and that Urmi is right and must have taken this harsh decision after much thought. Saroj asks why didn't she tell it before. Urmi says that she was in the hope that Samrat would change, but she was wrong, and everything kept getting worse. She tells how he treats his own parents leave alone her. She tells her father that she has always done what he has told her, as she married the man too, who he asked her to. She says that she doesn't even know if Samrat even needs her, as he just loves himself, and insults her at every second statement, and that everything would happen as he wishes and that she can't take this slavery anymore. They are all tensed. Devi tries to tell that maybe he too realises his mistake. Urmi says that he would never realise as he never considers it as his mistake. Granny asks her not to think like that, and asks her to hope that Samrat would be okay. Gaurav says that's not going to help, as he doesn't show any signs to change. Devi reprimands Gaurav to shut up and talk nonsense. Devi says that they are trying to solve it and asks him to leave. He gets furious and leaves. Rashmi too leaves after him. Granny again says that when Samrat comes to take her, everything would be alright. She gets tensed and replies that she won't go back. Granny tries to speak, but Saroj says that they don't need to force her to go, as she doesn't want anything wrong to happen more. Granny says that such ego isn't needed, as breaking relation is easy but to take it forward is the actual win. She again tells her to go with Samrat, and when she refuses, she tells her that she has to go. Devi asks her to calm down. Urmi asks him for his support so that everything would be right and that she needs one chance to start life afresh and understand it better. They are all tensed. She says that she won't go back there at any cost.
Rashmi, in their room, tells Gaurav to stop instigating her sister, as she is already on the wrong path. Gaurav says that he isn't instigating her, but they can't let go of what Samrat did to her, and it's utterly unforgivable. Rashmi asks if she leaves the house, at every small thing, that happens to create a tension here between her and her family, and says that even he treats her badly at times, but she doesn't leave the house at that. Gaurav says that he isn't like that, and asks her to never compare him to that evil, obnoxious Samrat. Rashmi asks why just because he doesn't slap her, as they do so with words only. She tries to bring out the comparison between how much she is compromising even in adverse situations here, whereas Urmi is so hot headed in a family where she is loved so much. He asks why does she always start comparing herself. She tells him to understand that Urmi can't stay here forever, as then she would be a burden on them for life. She asks if he would get her remarried, and even if she does, she wouldn't get any respect, as she would be deemed to be a girl who left someone else’s house. Gaurav says that whenever she opens her mouth, she always talks nonsense. As gaurav leaves, Rashmi still rants furiously.
At Samrat’s residence, while Samrat is talking on the roof, Shashi comes to him and pretends to be caring, but Samrat teases her about it. She pretends to be fake angry when he says that he was just joking. Meanwhile Samrat's mother tells him that Urmi’s parents had come. He asks why did they come and not send Urmi instead. Shashi only ignites more anger within him by lying to him falsely that Urmi won't come like this as they want him to apologise to Urmi and get her back. He is shocked and angry.
