Dev gets a job and his boss gives him files and ask him to clear them without any mistake. Rajath tells his father they should celebrate Payal’s birthday at their house. Indu says Jagadev has thrown a party for Payal and even Dev wants party at his home. Rajath says then, Payal’s birthday will be in her in-laws. Aditya tells his father that Goonjun is pestering him to stop Payal’s birthday party. Jagadev says the party is an investment for their lavish life and he will call all biggies of Jamshedpur and will gets contacts, even he will keep the gifts Payal receives.

Its Payal’s birthday, she looks at the clock and thinks it is already 12 but it seems to her that everyone has forgotten as neither her parents nor Dev wished her happy birthday. Dev who is in his room thinks instead of giving a surprise party, he should go and wish Payal happy birthday. He goes to her room and Payal also opens the door on time. She asks if he needs anything. He gets nervous and thinks to not to wish her and keep the secret. Payal thinks he must have forgotten her birthday and should remind him. She tells him that she wants to get chocolate cake for Sonu and Bunty tomorrow. He says the kids like ice-creams. Payal says then she will get them icecream. She then says that her friend has birthday tomorrow and she wants to wish her. He says then they will go and wish her tomorrow. Payal thinks Dev is not remembering her birthday. Dev asks why is she saying this? He then asks if there is anyone birthday? Payal says no. Dev asks her to come to his room. Payal says refuses, and sadly leaves from there. Dev apologizes and thinks he couldn’t wish her because of the surprise, and decides to wish her first, every year for all her future birthday.

Next morning, Payal prays to God for her family happiness and health. She brings aarti for both her father-in-law and mother-in-law, and takes their blessings. Payal thinks no one remembers her birthday. Santoshi and Guddi look at each other. Payal takes Aditya and Goonjun’s blessings. Goonjun asks her if she doing something else other than this puja and further asks if she is going to office? Payal says she is going in sometime. Payal gives aarti to Dev. Dev tells her that he is going for some important meeting and will come late in the evening. He asks her to have dinner on time and not wait for him. Payal tells her mother-in-law that she is leaving for office. Once Dev leaves, Santoshi laughs. Dev tells them that Payal is very sad and he can’t bear to see her sad. Guddi teases him for this. Dev says he made her sad. Jagadev asks Dev to call the guests for the surprise birthday party.

Payal is in her office and thinks why her family didn’t wish her on her birthday. She thinks even her parents didn’t call. She thinks how can it be possible. In the evening, Payal comes home and sees eletricity gone. She thinks to open the light and switches off the lights. She sees her in-laws and her father family with all the arrangements. Neelu wishes her and everyone wish her happy birthday. Santoshi wishes her and tells her that it was Dev’s plan to give her surprise birthday party. Payal thinks where Dev is? As she she notices that he is not seen here. Guddi thinks Dev asked her to sent her sister-in-law to the room. She asks Payal to go and get ready for cake cutting ceremony. Payal goes to the room, sees the decorations and arrangements in her room. She gets happy. Dev comes there, holding a flower bouquet and wishes her happy birthday. Payal is extremely happy.

Dev gift Payal a sari and bouquet as her birthday gift. Payal gets happy. Rajesh says Dev bought sari worth 5000 rupees from his part time job’s full month salary. He tells her how Dev worked hard and manage to earn the money. She happily accepts it and says he is looking very handsome in blazer. He thanks her and leaves. Payal enters the party venue wearing Dev’s gifted sari. Balaram and family smile seeing her. Dev gets mesmerized seeing her beauty. Aditya brings Bhushan with him and he greets Payal. Payal asks how come he is here. He says he is her subordinate now, so Aditya came to greet her. She thanks everyone present for making her birthday special. Payal does not find Goonjun around and her children in the party and goes to their room to bring them down. Goonjun yells and insults her to get out of her room. Payal says this is the time to forget all their differences and celebrate as a family. She says if she comes then it will be a birthday gift from her side.

Goonjun agrees and comes down with Payal. On seeing her, Jagadev panic and thinks Goonjun may create a problem for him. Dev gathers everyone near the cake, lights the candles on it, and gives a knife to Paya. Payal blows the candles and cuts the cake. Everyone clap and sing happy birthday to her. Payal tries to feed cake to Neelu, when she asks her to feed Dev first. She does and Dev also feeds her cake. She then feeds everyone and Goonjun, who accepts with frowning face. Jagadev invites all the guests and Payal’s family for dinner and says they will chat after dinner. Payal sees Verma and tells Satish. Satish tells her that most of the people are the ones who wants to work with her and the ones they rejected to give the tender. Jagadev introduces the guests. They give her a gift. Payal refuses to take gift and says she didn’t know them. Jagadev says, but he know. Payal makes an excuse and leaves. Balaram and Indu are happy seeing Payal being loved by her in-laws and husband. Balaram tells Dev that the arrangement is good and leaves. The servant finds Balaram’s phone and take this to Payal. Dev goes out to give the call to his father-in-law, Balaram.

Jagadev tells Bhushan that they didn’t arrange for drinks because of Payal’s family and asks him to get tender for Aditya. He tells him to ask his daughter-in-law instead. Jagadev says it is in Bhushan’s hands and asks him to give the tender to Aditya. Bhushan refuses. Aditya gets angry, scold him and insists he have to do it anyway. He then threatens him. Bhushan says they called him here to get his work done, but he won’t come in their talks. He adds that he know that Payal is honest and he also want to work with honesty under her. Aditya angrily grabs his collar. Jagadev reminds Bhushan that Payal is his daughter-in-law, and they are her family. He tells him that he will show his power to him and now his Payal Madam will order him to pass Aditya’s tender and he will do it. But everyone is even more surprised at what Jagadev does to one of the guests at the party as he brings him to the party hall and throw the contractor at Payal’s feet. Payal asks what is this? Jagedev asks an action that may ruin the Prasad family and asks her to order Bhushan to pass the tender in Aditya’s name, and says it is matter of his prestige. He reminds her that he is her father-in-law and saying something. He says it is matter of his house and his prestige. Payal says she will talk later about it. Jagadev who is adamant to gets contract for his elder son refuses and insists her to just give him order right itself and he want to see his place. Aditya says his dad is saying something. Payal who is shocked and in dilemma politely says she can’t do this and she can’t order Bhushan. Everyone is shocked.

Payal refusing to order Bhushan to pass the tender and says there is a procedure to follow before passing the tender. Jagadev says it is matter of his prestige and she is talking about procedure. Goonjun thinks now their working daughter-in-law will show them their place. Payal apologizes and says she can’t pass the tender. Jagadev asks her to pass new lake tender, and says it is in her limits to give another contract to Aditya. Payal asks why is he forcing her. Jagadev asks when she can give contract to others, then why not Aditya. Payal says if Aditya wants to get the contract then he needs to send his file, if everything is fine then he may get the contract. Aditya gets angry and says she have to rub her eyes on his feet and asks how dare she to refuse his father. Payal asks them to understand. Jagadev says Payal is insulting both her father-in-law and brother-in-law, and raise a question on her parents’ upbringing. Dev comes there and says his father is wrong and then asks what did Payal say that is wrong? He then tells his father that if Aditya wants to get the contract, then he have to follow the orders. On hearing this, Goonjun says there is atleast a man in the house. Payal apologizes and says she can’t compromise on her values and rules. Dev says they are greedy people and understands his father’s plan.

Dev tells his father that he is extending his limits in the party. Jagadev who want to make use of the guests in the party says Payal is not officer for him, but his daughter-in-law. Dev reminds him that he brought a daughter-in-law home and not an officer. He ends the party and takes Payal with him. Someone laugh on Jagadev and leaves. After everyone leaves. Aditya gets angry and breaks the things. Dev tells Payal that it was good that her parents left before this drama started, else what they might have thought. Payal says she is worried as their family’s prestige and name is maligned. Dev asks how can she think that. He reminds her that today is her birthday and they have ruined her birthday, but she is thinking about their betterment. Payal says it is her best birthday till date, as he planned surprise party, gift etc for her.

On the other hand, Jagadev asks Aditya to break Payal’s ego into pieces, so that she can’t pick it up all her life. He says they have to end her existence with this house. Santoshi comes to Payal and apologizes on Jagadev and Aditya’s work. Payal holds her mother-in-law's hand and asks her not to apologize. Santoshi tells her that they don’t respect women, and tells her about Jagadev’s nature. Payal asks her not to worry and says she didn’t feel bad and further assures her mother-in-law that she is always with her like this. She adds that her father-in-law will understand his mistake soon. Santoshi feels bad. Aditya talks to someone and tells his father about a deal worth crores. Santoshi and Payal comes there. Payal brings tea and apologizes to her father-in-law, asking him to forget about the happenings in the party. Jagadev says she have slapped him infront of everyone and forwards his face asking her to slap him. Payal is tensed and looks on shockingly.
