Jeet file a complaint of a missing person at the police station and they promise to get in touch with him when they find any news about it. Cherry is in a dark room with Jeet's picture behind her. She says Soni is out of that house, out of Jeet's life and may be dead. And now she is out of her nightmares, adding that Soni deserves whatever happened with her. Mahi is in her room when she sees Angad walk in, shut the door behind him and lock it. She watches in horror wondering if he could be up to his deceitful ways again and he slowly approaches her, staring straight at her. Mahi takes a step back and something drops on the floor, making a noise and bringing a total change to Angad's behaviour. He "realizes" Mahi is there and apologizes, saying he thought he was in his room. He brings out his walking stick and manage to go out of Mahi's room. Jeet tells tells his father that there is still no news about where Soni is. Buaji tells them that they're worrying over nothing and Jeet gets upset with her and vows to find her soon.

Soni decides that ending her life is the only way out of her problematic life. Jeet prays in front of a picture that he will find Soni soon. He comes out of their in-house temple and recalls when he splash a vermilion on Soni forehead as a widow, he recalls his marriage with her, when he covers her with his jacket, when Soni was treating his wound and others goods memories with her. He sits on the floor and cry not knowing anything about Soni. In the meantime, an elderly uncle sees her walking aimlessly on the streets towards the cliff end and phones Jeet to tell him about this. On hearing this, Jeet immediately wear his shoes and Durga comes there asking him what happened but he didn't answer his mother and rushed out. Durga wonders what the urgency is all about. Jeet is anxiously searching for Soni through the streets on his bike. His bike strikes a rock and he flies off, landing in the forest. His head hits a rock and he loses consciousness. Soni is seen walking through the forest, while Jeet is slowly coming back to his senses. Jeet struggles to get back to his bike but his bike is not starting. He finds some passerbyers who are on bike and asks them to help him search for Soni. At first they refused him and later give him one of their bike. He thanks them and starts searching for his wife. Soni walks towards the edge of the cliff, she looks at all the scars on her body and says that she has no right to live. Soni says that she is giving her life up but asks God to take care of Jeet for her. Jeet reaches within metres of where Soni is but is unable to find her. Her veil suddenly flies over his face and he spots her. He cries out her name and runs to stop her as she slowly takes steps towards the complete edge of the cliff. Just as she prepares to fall, Jeet grabs her arm and spins her around towards him as they stare at each other with tears but Kanchi is officially shown as the new Soni.

Jeet stops Soni from jumping off the cliff and tells her that he can bear getting hurt a thousand times over but he cannot live without her. He scolds her and promises to keep her happy and tells her that he loves her a lot. Soni cries hearing this and they both hugs each other. Soni smile hugging him at the cliff. Back at home, Mr Khurana and Durga are worried about Jeet's whereabouts when he comes home, Durga pretend to be concern and asks if their is any good news about Soni whereabouts but Durga is shocked as she sees that Soni came back with Jeet and she wonders what she will tell Cherry now. Mr Khurana asks Soni why she left the house and tells her that they are all worried for her as they all care for her. He asks Jeet to take her to her room for her to rest. Durga angrily looks at Soni as well as Bua. Cherry is disappointed in Durga, she insult her and tells her that she is going to give the cassette to the police and expose Durga. Cherry tells her that she will now have to do what she says to get rid of Soni. She tells Durga that tonight she will finish this all off.

There's a lot of excitement in Mahi's house as everyone prepares for Lodi. Angad comes there and asks for Kamya. She walk up to him and he tells her that he has bought her something for Lodi and Kamya is happy to see the suit he brought her. Aunt Billo asks Shabd if he bought anything for Mahi and she becomes uncomfortable. Shabd says that he has and Mahi tries to leave from there but Aunt Billo asks her to see Shabd's gift before she leaves. Mahi quietly unwraps the gift as she remembers how she found out about Shabd and Sapna's past relationship. Mahi thanks him and leaves from there, leaving a dejected Shabd. Soni on the other hand tells her mother-in-law that she tried to leave but Durga doesn't listen to her and accuses her of not trying hard enough to go far away from them. She then changes her tone as Jeet walks in and pretends to have been worried about where Soni had gone. She leaves and Jeet tells her to get ready for Lodi.

Shabd stands outside, hurt about what had happened earlier with Mahi. Sapna comes there and asks if everything is okay between him and Mahi and if Mahi knows the truth yet. He tells her that he doesn't know but doesn't know how long he can keep it from her. Shabd further tells her that he is very worried about Mahi and that he thinks he will have to tell her the truth now. Sapna tells him Mahi will be heartbroken if she finds out the truth. Shabd tells her that it's better if he tells Mahi rather than her finding out from someone else. Sapna convinces him not to tell her anything as she will lose all trust in him. She tells him that Mahi should never come to know that Rahul is his and her son but stops midsentence as she spots Angad. Angad walks over to them and asks Shabd if this is true.

Angad asks Shabd why he is hiding all this from Mahi. Sapna tells Shabd to not tell anything to Mahi. Soni and Jeet are decorating lodhi and they both have a romantic moment between them, where Durga comes and tell them they all are going for Punjabi community lodhi function. Sapna comes to Mahi and convinces her that Shabd only loves her (Mahi). Later, Jeet is helping Soni pick out an outfit when Buaji comes there and insults her saying how bad she will look with her burnt hands showing. Durga and Bua humiliate Soni in indirect way but Jeet supports Soni all through.
